In this video we show our technique for a PA pasty in an 86 years old patient with a small central tumour invading the PA. The patient had a previous nephrectomy, ischemic heart disease and permanent pacemaker. He was discharged in very good condition on day 3.
A Left VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery) Upper Lobectomy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to remove the upper lobe of the left lung, typically for patients with lung cancer, infections, or other lung diseases. In some cases, the procedure is accompanied by PA (Pulmonary Artery) Plasty, which involves reconstructing or repairing the pulmonary artery to restore normal blood flow.
